Job Advert
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking GP to join our small, dedicated team at Camphill Medical Practice and provide high quality care to our patients in an environment of warmth and understanding. The ideal candidate will play an active role within the practice to contribute to the maintenance of our high standards and help develop patient services for the future.
We take a holistic approach to care, using conventional medicine as the basis and can extend this, where appropriate, to include the complementary use of natural and homeopathic medicines and therapies.
We have a list size of around 1875 patients, a number of whom have moderate to severe learning disabilities; an interest in this field would be advantageous. The practice also has a high proportion of elderly patients with complex medical needs, therefore an interest in Elderly Medicine would also be advantageous.
As a Section 2c Practice, practice staff are employees of NHS Grampian and are managed by Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership.
No contracted OOH commitment, however sessions working in unscheduled care would be available separately from GMED, (local OOH provider) or A&E Department, Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
NHS Grampian is a people-focused organisation offering employment practices which are both flexible and family-friendly.
Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. For more information visit www.gmc-uk.org
