This is a full-time post offered on a fixed contract for 2 years.

Glasgow Clinical Research Facility (GCRF) incorporates Clinical Research Facilities at QEUH, the GRI and Children’s Clinical Research Facility at QEUH. Jointly they provide a streamlined service to investigators to conduct their clinical research efficiently and safely.

We are recruiting an enthusiastic QA Assistant who will support the Quality Assurance (QA) Lead in the development, implementation and maintenance of systems to assure the quality of clinical research undertaken within the Glasgow Clinical Research Facility (GCRF), in accordance with applicable legislations, standards and frameworks governing clinical research.

The post holder will support the CRF preparation for external audits and regulatory inspection by the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and Food and Drugs Administration (FDA).

Minimum requirements:
 First level degree with significant, current and relevant clinical research experience.
 Proven experience of supporting the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures.
 Knowledge of current clinical research regulatory legislation, standards and frameworks and governance requirements.
 Excellent communication skills (oral, written & presentation) with proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
 Good working knowledge and skills in general IT
 Proven project or administrative management and with good organisational skills
