We are recruiting to a new service in NHS Highland - Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner roles based in primary care to work alongside GP’s and other professionals in general practice. 

This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner based in primary care to work alongside GP’s and other professionals. We are looking for experienced Physiotherapists to join the NHS Highland First Contact Physiotherapy Team. 

These posts have a flexible design, providing clinical delivery in general practices across NHS North. There are a range of location options to suit the applicants desired location in the Highlands.   
   
Applications are invited from physiotherapists who have advanced clinical knowledge and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of MSK conditions. Applicants should be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical care with previous specialist experience in this field.  Injection skills and prescribing are part of this role and you will be expected to work toward completion of both if you do not have the qualification on application.   
   
The Highlands of Scotland is renowned for its beauty, its varied scenery ranges across mountains, beaches, lochs, castles and glens. With plenty to offer for an outdoor lifestyle, facilities include sailing, mountain biking, snow sports, hiking and open water swimming as well as plenty of walks exploring the varied landscapes. Towns and cities offer museums, shopping, cinemas and theatres as well as harbours, busy bars and restaurants. The Highlands are accessible with good transport links via car, air, bus or train. In addition, with over 250 primary and secondary schools across the region, the University of the Highlands and Islands also offers undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes.  

A full current driving licence and use of car for work purposes is essential.
