Band 5 Pharmacy Technician – Bank positions
We are looking for ambitious and motivated qualified pharmacy technicians to join us in the Acute Pharmacy Service as bank technicians. You will have post registration experience upon which to build your knowledge in a range of Hospital pharmacy disciplines depending on the requirements of the service. Our technician workforce have roles throughout the acute service from the clinical/ ward based service, to the dispensary, aseptic services, procurement and radiopharmacy. Initially roles will focus around our ward based services working closely with the pharmacy supply services. Training and support will be provided.
Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) is the largest hospital in NHS Grampian, located on the Foresterhill site in Aberdeen. ARI is a teaching hospital with around 800 inpatient beds, offering tertiary care for a population of over 500,000 across the North of Scotland. It offers all medical and surgical specialities with the exception of some organ transplants.
Applications for this post are invited from qualified, registered technicians with relevant post qualification experience. A dispensary checking technician qualification is required and if not already held, must be undertaken.
