FIXED TERM / SECONDMENT FOR A PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS DUE SERVICE DELIVERY
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a fixed term/*secondment opportunity (18 months) part time (22.5 hrs/ 3 days) Simulation Technician to join the Scottish Centre for Simulation and Clinical Human Factors (SCSCHF) team in NHS Forth Valley.
You will provide comprehensive technical services in the context of simulation education for educators and clinicians, contributing to the running of simulation programmes within the SCSCHF.
You will be educated to Higher level or equivalent, be competent in the use of Microsoft Office and have the ability to manage your own workload with competing demands.
The SCSCHF is located within Level 2 of FRVH and consists of a Simulation Ward, Simulation Theatre, each with their own Control Room and 2 classrooms.
Previous experience with high-fidelity manikin operation would be an advantage but training will be given in the use of the mannequins and audio-visual equipment.
The SCSCHF is an exciting place to work in NHS FV and you will be involved in the development, set up and running of a variety of courses covering a range of specialties with a wide range of health professionals. Participants come from all over Scotland to attend our courses.
