​​​​​​​We have two  full time vacancies, one at Udston hospital  and one at University Hospital Monklands

This role will involve undertaking the paint works under the guidance of the Assistant Maintenance Manager where appropriate, on all aspects of building fabric repair, general maintenance for both planned and reactive maintenance.


The successful candidate must have a recognised CITB/EITB Painter Craft Apprenticeship e.g City & Guilds and demonstrable experience or significant experience in a similar role within a large complex service organisation. Able to work well as an individual and as part of a team, you must have experience within a people environment., show good interpersonal and communication skills and be self-motivated with the ability to motivate others, while using you own initiative and problem solving in day to day issues.​​​​​​​

Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to accurately complete documentation and update records is essential. you must also attend specialised training courses as required PASMA (Access tower erection), IPAF(mobile powered platforms), level 2 PaMOVA (Violence and aggression breakaway techniques), asbestos awareness, resuscitation techniques etc.
