We have a number of opportunities to join our team, both fulltime and part time, in carrying  out the delivery and distribution of porter services to wards, departments and Health Centres across NHS Lanarkshire.                                                                                                

Successful candidate must possess the following attributes:

Porter must be trained in the department’s statuary training program i.e. 

Manual handling

Management of aggression

Food & hygiene

Driving licence

M.I.D.A.S (mini bus driving training)

Spillage kit training

Commitment to ongoing personnel development as identified due to exigencies of the service 

Ability to work with people as part of a multidisciplinary team,

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Ability to carry out porter duties effectively within a changing environment
