An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Diabetes MCN Project Facilitator within NHS Ayrshire and Arran Diabetes Managed Clinical Network.
The postholder will contribute to the planning of MCN workstreams/projects and will be responsible for the effective co-ordination and monotioring of several specific workstreams/projects that will contribute to the development of the MCN and enable progress towards local and national MCN and condition specific standards and targets.
The postholder will provide project and administrative support to MCN colleagues/stakeholders that will allow them to contribute to implementation of workstreams/projects.
Experience of working within a Diabetes MCN is desirable.
Primary duties will include
• leading on all activity in relation to SCI-Diabetes including delivering training, problem solving, fault reporting, data provision, UAT testing and data validation
• Representing NHS Ayrshire and Arran at national meetings
• Organising and facilitation of patient and staff events
• Administering Athena, Diabetes App, Social Media Pages and Ayrshire and Arran public site
• Designing and creating useful communications for people with Diabetes
• General Administration Duties
Due to the nature of this role, a car driver is essential.
Hours: 30 per week.
