An exciting opportunity within the West of Scotland Mother and Baby Unit has become available for a Peer Support Worker. Application are welcomed and encouraged from individuals who have lived experience of perinatal mental health problems and who feel they could utilize this experience to support individuals who are an inpatient within the West of Scotland Mother and Baby Unit. We are looking for someone who would be able to assist individuals to set unique goals for their recovery and also focus on life beyond acute illness. The hours of this post are 37.5 hours and these can be worked over seven days and this will be discussed between the post holder and Senior Charge Nurse. This will be a fixed term post for 12 months.
