MAINTENANCE SHIFT PERSON – RAIGMORE HOSPITAL
Band 4 plus RRP: £23,709 to £25,982
37.5 hours per week – Full Time, Permanent
A vacancy has arisen within the Estates Department of NHS Highland at Raigmore Hospital for a Maintenance Shift Engineer.
Minimum expected earnings including unsociable payments and Recruitment and Retention payment (RRP) £36,000 per annum.
Applicants must have served a recognised apprenticeship, preferably within either a Mechanical or Electrical discipline and have appropriate experience working on building and engineering services, preferably within a healthcare environment.
Knowledge of the Raigmore site would be beneficial.
The successful applicant will be required to carry out maintenance and repair on a wide variety of building services and equipment.
Experience of Steam boilers would be a distinct advantage
A flexible approach to work is essential as variations to the standard working week may be necessary, to provide appropriate shift cover to maintain the level of service required.
A current driving licence is essential.
