An exciting opportunity has arisen within NSS Finance to lead and manage the delivery of Transaction Services for NSS and our customers.
NSS Finance provide Transaction Services to NSS, Public Health Scotland, Healthcare Improvement Scotland, NHS24 and The State Hospital. The teams are responsible for the payment of over 110,000 supplier invoices, raising of 7000 sales invoices and the processing of contractor payments to GPs, Pharmacists, Dentists & Opticians for all of Scotland totalling £2.7billion within timescales agreed with our customers.
We are looking for people with excellent people management skills, strong communication, experience in transformational change, have a sound knowledge of financial accounting processes and systems and have the ability to work in partnership with internal and external customers. The ideal candidate would also be highly motivated, organised and able to prioritise, assess and make decisions, as well as being proactive, innovative and enthusiastic.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme Disclosure/Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who has worked overseas for more than 3 months will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency
