An exciting opportunity has arisen within the rheumatology service for a dynamic, flexible and motivated nurse. The role of the successful candidate is to work as an integral member of the rheumatology nursing team providing direct patient care either in a clinic setting or in day medicine. You will also be required to provide support to patients who call the rheumatology telephone helpline and also work as part of the team in the administration of biologic therapies.
You should have experience at this level and previous experience working at band 5 as part of a multi-disciplinary team assessing and caring for individuals with complex needs due to long term health conditions.
You should have good clinical assessment skills and experience of working with outside agencies is desirable. The delivery of holistic, person-centred care is paramount. Your ability to problem-solve and think on your feet is vital. You should have evidence of on-going professional development.
