The postholder will be required to provide an efficient secretarial and administrative service to the senior management, medical and nursing staff within the Public Protection Team. It is desirable for you to have a Business Management/Administration Qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills. Your responsibilities will be varied and will include meeting co-ordination, minute taking, typing of medical correspondence and providing statistical reports using microstrategy reporting system as well as extracting information for analysis from hospital and community based systems (Clinical Portal, Trakcare, EMIS) We are looking for a motivated individual who can show competence in the use of a range of computer packages, particularly Microsoft Office packages, evidenced by training or formal qualification e.g. ECDL, proven organisational skills and is able to demonstrate attention to detail in their work. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be working with a wide range of people at various levels. We are looking for applicants with enthusiasm for a new challenge and a willingness to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced secretarial administrator who is a team player with a flexible approach to their work. Candidates will require the ability to work to deadlines and be able to plan, prioritise and manage a busy and varied workload. Please note that during this time all interviews will be conducted remotely. The post is 27 hours per week fixed term initially for 23 months.
