Angus Health & Social Care Partnership has an exciting opportunity for three Band 5 Occupational Therapists with the creation of these rotational posts across three diverse specialities which will provide a wide base of knowledge and experience for each post holder.

Community Mental Health Team - You will provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention for people aged 16- 65 years experiencing mental health problems which impact on their occupational performance, enabling them to achieve their best possible personal outcomes within their homes and communities. We use individual and group work approaches to support goal achievement, empowerment through independence, supported self-management and recovery where possible

Psychiatry of Old Age - You will provide occupational assessment and treatment of older adults across three inpatient areas to enable them to achieve their optimum level of independence in the areas of personal care, domestic, leisure, education and work. Treatment plans and interventions to be evaluated and modified as required measuring progress and ensuring people are working towards their goals.

Community Rehabilitation Occupational Therapy –You will work across in-patient rehabilitation and with patients in their own homes, working closely with local community teams including enablement response and enhanced community support.

You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and must be willing and able to travel across the locality.

  Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week.

Starting and finishing times will be determined by the needs of each service.  These are rotational posts across three services and different localities of Angus.
