An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen with Ward 3A/C at University Hospital Crosshouse for two Deputy Charge Nurses with current NMC registration. Caring for specialist oncology/haematology patients and general medical patients within the inpatient unit and delivering outpatient Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies within the day unit, this post offers a varied and stimulating prospect.
Experience of SACT delivery is essential as well as experience in nurse led SACT, hence evidence of and commitment to continuous professional development must be demonstrated. You will possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills as well as being able to work effectively to assist the Senior Charge Nurse to lead the team.
Hours: 37.50 per week (You will be flexible to shift patterns and have a genuine interest in the specialty).
