An opportunity has arisen within the Child Health Occupational Therapy Service for recruitment of a part-time (30hrs) Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our team which provides a three tiered model of service delivery including universal, targeted and specialist interventions to children and young people from birth to 18 years. This post will be within the Dundee team based at Kingspark School. The Dundee team cover mainstream schools and nurseries, Armitstead Child Development Centre and Kingspark School.
This post will offer the post holder the opportunity to work with children with a variety of difficulties and gain specialist skills in Child Health Occupational Therapy. You will be required to work in a variety of community settings including mainstream schools, specialist school settings, and out-patient clinics. The post holder will work closely with a wide range of professionals and agencies including education, other health professionals and social work.
We are looking for an individual who has good communication skills and is committed to multi disciplinary team working. Applicants should have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy. The Occupational Therapy Service offers supervision, appraisal, regular in-service training and is committed to Continued Professional Development.
