Fixed Term/Secondment - 12 Months
- To plan, lead and develop Carers Services on behalf of the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership (EHSCP), working closely with key partners and agencies; in support of national and local strategies and targets
- Lead on implementation of relevant aspects of the EHSCP Carers’ Strategy. This will include project management; contract monitoring and financial control.
- Directly manage and be accountable for NHS Lothian employed carer support team; Volnet coordinator employed by City of Edinburgh Council, and the Edinburgh Carer Support contract and all associated budgets.
This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
