Department of Sleep Medicine, NHS Lothian

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our multi disciplinary team working in the Department of Sleep Medicine.

The Department of Sleep medicine based at the RIE is a tertiary referral centre for the diagnosis and treatment of all forms of sleep related breathing and neurological disorders.

Applicants for the Band 6 post should possess a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification and be RPSGT or ESRS Somnologist Registered. Ideally applicants should be on the RCCP or AHCS register for Clinical Physiologists.

The applicant will be self-motivated, innovative and capable of managing their own workload in an efficient and flexible manner. Applicants should have experience in all aspects of sleep medicine with a working knowledge of Polysomnography including manual interpretation and reporting of respiratory and neurological sleep disorders.

The applicant must be able to demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development.
