We are looking to recruit an Infant Nutrition Coordinator (INC) with a proven track record of implementing UNICEF UK Baby Friendly standards, delivering training, project management, quality improvement and improving patient experience.
Under the direction of the Dietetic Consultant in Public Health Nutrition the Infant Nutrition Coordinator (INC) will contribute to the strategic and operational planning, management and delivery on the infant nutrition elements of the Maternal and Infant Nutrition Framework and the Scottish Government’s Breastfeeding Programme for Government. This will include a period of induction to the current work programme to ensure a smooth transition into the role.
The post holder will be a first level nurse or midwife currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and will hold a first degree in a health-related subject, or have equivalent experience, plus he/she will hold a postgraduate qualification, or equivalent experience. The successful candidate will also hold professional/vocational training/qualifications or experience in project/programme management methodology.
The post holder will be required to travel throughout Tayside.
