We are seeking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated, dedicated and passionate Paediatric Lead Radiographer to co-ordinate and provide clinical leadership to our existing friendly Radiographic team.

You will have 5 or more years’ clinical experience in general Radiography with further experience and skills in specialised paediatric radiology techniques including paediatric micturating cystograms and NAI imaging.  You must demonstrate robust leadership skills and a commitment to personal development.  This post will have a large clinical commitment and participation in departmental clinical audit is expected. 

This post will be based at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy.  The 2 departments consist of 1 general CR x-ray  room, 1 Carestream DR room, 3 Fuji DR Rooms 1 Philips Multi eleva screening room and 2 dental rooms with DR OPT units.  In addition we have 3 DR mobile and 4 CR mobile units.  The department’s main Radiology IT systems are Fuji CR, Carestream PACS, TRAK and CRIS.

You will work in partnership with the site superintendent Radiographer to co-ordinate  paediatric services, ensuring a high quality, patient centered, safe service for inpatients, outpatients and GP patients.

Participation in “public holiday” rota is a requirement of this post and  additional out of hour’s duties may be available.
