To provide leadership and direction to the Administration staff and play a key role in the communication across all disciplines to ensure that an effective and efficient administration process supports a quality service delivery to patients. The successful candidate will be educated to HNC/ NVQ level 4 or have relevant equivalent experience and must also have 3+ years’ experience of working in a similar environment, preferably within the Health Service.  Responsible for the supervision and organisation of administrative systems, processes and staff training of various sections within radiology to effectively support the clinical service.

The post holder will operate with a high degree of autonomy for managing their own & others workload, prioritising and ensuring timetables for data collection, analysis and dissemination of information and reports. They will be a need to re-prioritise their workload frequently as urgent ad-hoc requests for information are assigned to them.  To be responsible for managing the reporting turnaround times by monitoring and analysing waiting list/time data.  Travelling across sites within NHS GG&C to provide training to other staff groups to ensure data entry and management is consistent with current policies Ensure data quality by working closely with staff across NHSGGC. Monitor weekly lists of unreported/unverified examinations, contacting reporters/ outsourcing companies to ensure completion within target.
