The Women and Child Division are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and exemplary Children's Nurse to take up a senior role within the department.

This is an exciting opportunity to help support and shape the children's nursing services across the Highlands. The post covers acute and community paediatric nursing care, with the post holder based within  Raigmore Hospital.

The successful candidate will provide clinical leadership to the wider nursing team supporting SCNS, Team Leaders and Specialist Paediatric Nurses to ensure safe and effective clinical practice, and provide leadership and manage and develop the performance of the team.

The post holder will support the redesign of services, contribute to the organisational objectives and create a culture of continuous improvement and development.

Engagement with children and young people and their carers and the nursing and wider support teams  is a vital part of the Assistant Divisional Nurse Manager role.

The successful post holder will lead by example to create a supportive, compassionate and caring culture.
