An exciting opportunity has come up for a permanent band 5 Community Dietitian who will be a link for the Nutrition and Dietetic Service in North East Quadrant and South Quadrant of NHS GG&C. The post will be 1.0wte split between the two geographical areas. The areas provides dietetic services for all ages, and across diverse socio-economic and cultural groups. The population includes significant levels of high deprivation, chronic ill health and areas of affluence. Skills of communication, negotiation and motivation are required.
The post holder will be a source of professional advice for in the defined geographical / service area.
They will appropriately influence multi-disciplinary, general practice and other healthcare teams and network to promote the delivery of a high level of clinically effective nutritional care.
This post is open to full time and part time applications, we will also consider job sharing.
