Fundraising Officer


Salary scale: £23,000 - £30,000, depending on experience


30 Hours per week, 5 days over 7. Some weekend and evening work when required - Hybrid working considered


Ardgowan Hospice is seeking to appoint an exceptional candidate to join our small and effective fundraising team.

We are seeking a passionate community and individual fundraiser to join our small but dynamic fundraising team.  The role will be to support and steward our local community with their fundraising, focusing on individuals, businesses, schools, clubs and religious organisations. This is a great role for anyone looking to develop their community and individual fundraising skills, experience and knowledge.


To apply, you will have:

  • Experience of working in a fundraising environment - essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work on own initiative and manage workload


The role requires experience of using databases, with particular knowledge of Raiser’s Edge, and the ability to collate and analyse data and produce reports of a routine and non-routine variety.  Experience of undertaking fundraising research and delivering high levels of donor/supporter care are also essential.


Candidates must have at least 2 years fundraising experience and full knowledge of using fundraising data bases and managing donor stewardship and be a member of IOF.
