FIXED TERM/SECONDMENT* FOR 1 YEAR DUE TO PILOT PROJECT

Applications are invited from Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology (CAAP) to join the Occupational Health Service. This is a FIXED TERM POST/SECONDMENT FOR ONE YEAR in the first instance as part of a Pilot Mental Health and Wellbeing Project which will inform future Occupational Health Service delivery in NHS Forth Valley.
The Occupational Health Service is based at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, Larbert providing services to around 10,000 clients. You will be expected to deliver specialist assessment and support to NHS and Non NHS clients of OHS Forth Valley. The post holder will work closely with OH Psychologists and counsellors in providing assessment and therapy for OHS clients who will present with a range of difficulties. The role involves work collaboratively as part of the OHS multidisciplinary team (OHS MDT)
You should; hold a Undergraduate degree in Psychology with GBR and an MSc in Psychological Therapy (Adult). Provide evidence of supervised experience of direct clinical work with adults with commonly occurring mental health difficulties such as trauma, anxiety and depression. Have knowledge of relevant national clinical and professional guidelines and well developed oral and written communication skills, to impart highly technical and clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carers and other professional colleagues within and out with the NHS. Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary team and also to work independently to manage and organise a busy clinical caseload with a demonstrable commitment to regular supervision and CPD.
The hours of work will be 1x 37.5 hours per week or 2 x 18.75 hours per week
