NHS Tayside has recently developed their Digital Strategy and at the heart of this lies an ambition to develop a modern Electronic Patient Record (EPR). This is an exciting time to join NHS Tayside Digital Directorate, as the Development Services Team will be key to many of the developments in this new strategy.
What we are looking for:
We are seeking an experienced Agile Business Analyst to join our Software Development Scrum Team.
Candidates should have knowledge and capabilities in the following areas:
- Competence in application of best practice business analysis processes, tools and techniques
- Business value and customer focussed, with the ability to adapt to changing business priorities
- Strong consultative approach and communication skills, to facilitate collaborative working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience of working in an agile (preferably Scrum) environment is desirable
- This role will include the above but is not restricted to these responsibilities.

The postholder will have a degree of autonomy within their role, reporting to the Development Team Leader. Training relevant to the role will be provided, with opportunities for professional development and career progression, within the wider directorate.
This is a permanent, full-time post (37.5 hrs per week) within the Digital Directorate, currently based at Maryfield House, Dundee, however, location may change in the future. We aim to provide an environment that encourages work/life balance and there is some flexibility in team remote working on a partial basis.
