Applications are invited for the above full-time, fixed term post (12 months) based in the Pathology Department, Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The successful applicant will be required to produce pathology reports from digital files and handwritten notes, along with other clerical duties. 

Knowledge of medical terminology, taking and transcribing minutes, excellent keyboard skills and experience of Microsoft Word packages are essential. In addition, applicants should have good interpersonal and organisational skills, a professional attitude and be able to work as part of a team.

Applicants will have an HNC in Office Administration or an equivalent level of experience in an NHS Admin role within an acute clinical environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience of working in a busy, progressive Laboratory Office within a large Teaching Hospital.
