We are excited to be recruiting to a OT clinical specialist role in our Learning Disability Team in NHS Forth Valley.
You will provide a Clinical Specialist role within the community LD service and there may also be opportunity to work within our in-patient LD facility dependant on service needs.
The post will involve functioning as an integral part of the MDT, working with patients who have complex needs, completing assessments, contributing to the MDT risk assessments and providing OT contribution to clinical meetings. The post holder will also work with the OT Team to develop the service delivered to the overall LD population.
We would welcome applications from OTs who have experience within learning disabilities, a drive to improve services and have a strong collaborative approach to care.
The successful candidate(s) will be HCPC registered as an occupational therapist and will be mobile across Forth Valley. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
NHS Forth Valley is embracing contemporary working. As and when required the post holder will be expected to participate in twilight or weekend working.
