Care at Home Officer - Mid Ross Care at Home

Band 5 - £26,104 to £32,915 per annum pro rata

Permanent - 25 hours per week

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care at Home Officer to join the Mid Ross Integrated Team.  The post holder will work autonomously to ensure a high quality Enablement and Assess at Home service is provided, with a core focus of regaining independence in the person's own home.  This will involve staff management, including supervision and training, regular quality assurance reviews of documentation and processes, and collaborative working with other professionals in the Integrated Team. 

The post holder will also work closely with Independent Sector providers to coordinate commissioned care at home, monitor commissioned hours and ensure financial paperwork is completed. 


SVQ 4 Health and Social Care or equivalent professional qualification required in addition to experience in a management or supervisory role.  Knowledge of Care Inspectorate and SSSC standards also essential.

Full driving license and access to own vehicle required and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council required within 6 months of commencing in post.
