Job Title: Medical Receptionist – Care Navigation and Patient Services
Reports To: Administrative Team Lead
Hours: Full Time/Part-time roles available
Newburn HC LLP is a large, friendly, innovative and dynamic practice with circa 19,000 patients. Our staff also work as part of the team at Old Aberdeen Medical Practice which has a list size of circa 10,000 patients. We provide high quality primary care in an area with a wide ranging demographic and due to our expansion we are looking for people to join our non-clinical team.
We are looking for full time Medical Receptionists to join our innovative and friendly team to work primarily within the Care Navigation and Patient Services Team based either at Newburn HC LLP or Old Aberdeen Medical Practice, but should also be available to work in our branch surgery in Northfield as required, or any other location under our remit.
The role involves direct patient contact by phone, answering calls and triaging as appropriate, making appointments, processing prescriptions and mail, dealing with patient requests along with eConsult review and processing.
Successful candidates will be friendly, conscientious and professional. They will be self-motivated and able to contribute within a team, as well as demonstrate good communication skills, an ability to work with the general public and be computer literate.
