An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our progressive and friendly Radiology team within Fife.  

Applications are invited from HCPC registered radiographers with previous radiology clinical governance experience who have an in depth working knowledge of Incident reporting system, quality improvement and Risk management.

This post presents an excellent opportunity for you to develop or further enhance their management and leadership skills and work as part of the radiology leads team to support the delivery of radiology services.

Leading the governance/education and quality team and travelling between sites, you will lead with a focus to provide a high quality, professional comprehensive and pro-active services to the Radiology service users.   

We require an enthusiastic and self motivated Radiographer to support focussed work on clinical governance and quality improvement within the Radiology department.  Previous experience of quality improvement, change management and clinical audit are essential for this position and an active interest in staff development and training are essential requirements.
 
You will be able to demonstrate personal development through participation in CPD and compliance with HCPC standards of continuing professional development.  This is a full time position with a 60/40 spilt clinical sessions & systems/staff management.

Key responsibilities include, DATIX incident management, SBAR report writing and review, development and update of Radiology operational procedures (IR(ME)R), staff governance, quality improvement, audit and responding to patient complaints.  You will take responsibility for the management of staff competency records and work in partnership with the Student Supervisors to manage student placements.  Act as the point of contact for patient concerns, portraying the service in the highest possible professional basis. 

You will be involved in a number of planned operational adaptations, therefore we require a person who thrives in a challenging and focussed environment.  It is necessary for you to possess knowledge and experience of diagnostic waiting times and capacity planning along with excellent verbal and written communication skills and precision in their work with key attention to detail.

You will work as part of the radiology leads team providing leadership to Radiographers and health care support workers, inspiring, training, developing, encouraging influencing and motivating the team.
