Part-time Medical Receptionist/Administrator :  16 - 25 Hours per week.

Salary dependent on experience.
 
Kingswells Medical Practice is seeking to recruit a part time medical receptionist/administrator.  4 – 5 days per week, working mostly afternoon shifts, although there may also be a morning shift required if working a 5 day week.  Flexibility to work full days (starting at 08.00am) when required, to cover the absence of colleagues, is also a requirement.  

We operate “Extended Hours” (outwith of the Covid pandemic) and there will be a requirement to help cover up to 7pm one day per week, once this service resumes.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic with good computer skills and excellent written and verbal English with a minimum of 5 standard Grades (or equivalent) one of which should include English.  A friendly manner with the ability to work as part of a small team is essential.  You must be able to co-ordinate a variety of office functions simultaneously.  Previous experience in a medical environment is desirable. Attention to detail and the ability to observe strict confidentiality is of the utmost importance in this role.

This is a busy post and duties include assisting patients and other professionals efficiently both at the reception desk and over the telephone, and fulfilling administrative requirements including maintaining and entering accurate clinical data.
