Do you have an overriding passion to support the wellbeing of NHS staff and support the delivery of compassionate
patient care?

Do you have an understanding of the key elements that support wellbeing at work and an interest in and/ or knowledge of current NHS and wellbeing strategy, policy and structure? If so a rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to help coordinate an integrated health and wellbeing approach for NHS Ayrshire and Arran staff.

Staff wellbeing is integral to the renewal of NHS Scotland and providing an exceptional employee experience for all our diverse NHS workforce. You will be passionate about playing a part in supporting and creating the conditions and environment that supports and promotes wellbeing and live the values of person centredness, compassion and care for people.

Being a key member of our Occupational Health and Staff Wellbeing service, this post will work collaboratively with our wellbeing service leads to deliver a successful wellbeing programme for our 11,000 people. You will coordinate wellbeing activities in support of our Staff Health and Wellbeing Strategy to support all our people to
experience a culture and environment that supports and promotes their wellbeing at work.

The personal qualities of positivity, creative thinking and compassion are highly valued. You will need to be able to work in an environment which often has fast paced changes of priority and be able to work in an agile manner in the face of multiple demands. Working across boundaries, influencing partners and contributing to the broader determinants of wellbeing including financial inclusion and Community Wealth Building and Equalities will all be part of your role.
