Fife HSCP is responsible for the delivery of Mental Health Services across Fife.
We are looking for an experienced, driven and ambitious manager with a proven track record of delivering safe and effective Mental Health Services to work within the Health & Social Care Partnership in Fife.
There are numerous innovative developments taking place within the division and as a result we are looking for a forward thinking, enthusiastic and committed person. Are you organised, service user focused and a team orientated individual who wishes to support and guide these developments within our Community, Inpatient and Urgent Care Services.
As a Clinical Services Manager you will be required to have a proven track record of safe and effective managerial leadership to influence the planning, development and delivery of evidence based Mental Health Care.
You must have excellent communication and organizational skills, which are essential for this post, and have perceptive emotional intelligence.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Clinical Services Manager will provide leadership and operational management to operational, ward-based teams, Community Mental Health Teams and specialist teams within the Health and Social Partnerships Complex and Critical Care directorate.
This is an all-encompassing role that is accountable for the direct delivery of services within an area of responsibility. The role holder will ensure that operational services are developed in line with population needs, service demand and national and local priorities. Opportunities will be given to contribute, as part of the senior management team, to the Trust’s strategic agenda and business planning systems for own area of responsibility.
This is a leadership role and the postholder will work in collaboration with the senior managers to ensure effective performance, high quality governance, workforce planning, and on-going business development. The postholders will promote a culture of innovation, involvement and quality improvement.
Suitable candidates will have experience of operational service management in mental health and/or learning disability services and experience of delivering the provision of clinical services.
