Time for a change?  Equality and Human Rights Lead, NHS Fife

NHS Fife is proud to continue to develop its journey towards equity in access to our services, compassionate care, participation and justice. We want all people to feel welcome and respected when using our services and to receive high quality care. We aim for mainstream inclusion and rights-based work throughout the organisation, for both staff and patients, which we hope will lead to better health outcomes for all.

We are now looking for someone to lead the work on the Equalities and Human Rights Agenda. There is no typical career path to this role, but there are key skills need in order to be effective. We welcome applications from people with lived experience, as well as qualifications but it is essential that you have leadership experience in the field of Equality and Diversity.

The Equality and Human Rights Lead is hosted within the Patient Relations Team, as part of the Corporate Nursing Directorate, with responsibility for working across the organisation and with key partners to improve and protect the health of all people in Fife.

Due to a full review and revision of the role in order to recognise its significance within NHS Fife, this post is advertised on a 6 month fixed term basis. Secondment opportunities are welcomed.

Interview date: Friday 6th May 2022
