AS a Health Care Support Worker what’s really important is that you’re kind, compassionate and thoughtful towards patients, families and colleagues. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and who will be positive team members.
These opportunities are for people whose work, education or life experience has equipped them with excellent people-skills and who can also demonstrate good organisational skills and are able to use their initiative when caring for our patients.
Although previous experience of working within a care setting with vulnerable service users is desirable it’s not essential as we recruit on the basis of your character and care values.
We will train successful candidates in all of the important things you need to know about when working in a hospital environment (infection control, moving and handling, falls prevention, confidentiality etc.), and we will support your development during your induction period.
