Building (Environmental) Management Systems (BMS) Controls Officer

Responsible for the management of building and energy management control systems throughout the NHS Lothian estate, to ensure environmental and comfort conditions are maintained, including minimising their environmental impact and energy consumption while improving the systems reliability and functionality.
Provide professional and technical expertise in systems controls engineering, and knowledge in BEMS, on projects in developing the built environment across a wide range of health sector buildings including PFIs.
Manage and coordinate BMS projects and programmes including provision of engineering support to capital and estates teams in the design of new/refurbishment projects, technical assessment of engineering improvements of existing BMS assets, support procurement of maintenance contracts, asset management of BMS and project management of BMS works.
