Staff Nurses
This is an opportunity for Registered Nurses to join us. Band paid will be dependent on experience and qualifications required for the role being covered. There is a need specifically for nurses who have previous experience within Accident and Emergency Department, Theatre, General Surgery, General Medical, Older persons care.
Healthcare Support Workers
If you are enthusiastic with a keen interest in a profession in healthcare, good interpersonal skills and the ability to perform personal care for patients we would like to hear from you. SVQ2 in healthcare or equivalent experience within healthcare working would be an advantage.
Healthcare Support Workers play a vital role in supporting patients, working as part of a team on hospital wards providing direct care to patients, and helping with meals, bed making and keeping the ward clean and tidy.
You will be expected to comply with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of commencing your role – details can be viewed on http://www.hcswtoolkit.nes.scot.nhs.uk/resources/hcsw-standards-and-codes/
Bank posts do not involve regular hours but you may be offered casual work when available. A full induction programme will be arranged within the departments.

A Distant Island Allowance of £1,971 per annum (pro rata for part-time and fixed term positions) is payable.
