Are you graduating in 2022 or seeking to build on your current experience?

NHS Tayside is recruiting 6 dietitians to join Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic Service (TNDS) rotational scheme.

Tayside Nutrition and Dietetic Service currently has thirteen rotations across a range of specialist services including acute, community, weight management, mental health, renal, medicine for the elderly and paediatrics. The duration of each rotation is approximately twelve months. The rotational model provides an excellent opportunity to gain experience, develop knowledge and skills in a range of clinical areas and has been designed to offer optimum scope for career progression.

We are currently seeking six Band 5 dietitians with good communication and inter-personal skills to join the TNDS. These posts will begin rotation in Dundee community team based in Kings Cross Hospital, Perth community team based in Perth Royal Infirmary and the weight management team based across Tayside.

There will be involvement in the clinical placement programme for dietetic students and opportunities to participate in other teaching and learning programmes. The post-holder will be an active member of the Tayside Nutrition Network, with involvement in innovation and developing / implementing standards of best practice. 

Leadership and clinical supervision will be provided. All applicants will require to be registered with the Health Care Professions Council prior to starting in post.
