We are looking for a Speech and Language Therapist within our Adult Acquired Speech and Language Therapy Service.  This post offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to consolidate their learning and gain a range of experience in both acute medicine and community care.


The post holder will provide specialist speech and language therapy to inpatients within the acute wards in PRI and also provide out-patient clinics for patients with voice problems and neurological conditions living both within Perth City and also nursing homes within this area. The successful candidate will provide assessment, rehabilitation and advice to patients and their families, working closely with colleagues within the multi disciplinary team.


You will join a very supportive team of experienced therapists and work closely with our SLT support workers.  We are progressive and forward thinking team, keen to develop further strategies and ongoing service improvement and are looking for a dynamic clinician to join us. Professional development is supported and encouraged through training, clinical supervision and regular appraisal.


Within Tayside we actively support the NMAHP Developmental Framework both locally and within the AHP Directorate working closely with our AHP colleagues.


You must be HCPC registered.
