Job Advert

This is a permanent full-time post. 

You will provide a comprehensive administrative and audio typing service to the medical and associated clinical staff within the Ophthalmology Service. You will be responsible for ensuring any data entry is accurate to allow all patient activity to be processed in accordance with local and national requirements and letters are typed accurately via digital dictation system.
It is essential you have excellent keyboard skills, good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, and give attention to detail. You require to have a minimum of 4 standard grades one of which should be English or equivalent and a minimum of one years experience in an administrative role. It would be desirable if you are proficient in Microsoft office packages, have previous knowledge of medical terminology, hospital information systems, Data Protection and Patient Confidentiality.
