Inverclyde Health and Social Care Partnership along with Inverclyde Council and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde proudly deliver health and social care services to the people of Inverclyde. Within Inverclyde Mental Health and Alcohol and Drug Recovery Services are evolving and developing in order to meet present and future population health needs. As part of these innovative developments a team of Mental Health Advanced Nurse Practitioners is being established. This team will support the medical roster and provide on call cover to inpatient services over a 24hr period. It will be involved in leading and developing mental health nursing practice across both inpatient and community settings. The Mental Health Advanced Nurse Practitioner must have a significant amount of experience working within mental health services, preferably across multiple settings. The role requires a high level knowledge and skill as well as an ability to work autonomously. The Mental Health ANP will be responsible for delivering excellent clinical care and actively contributing to the success of the team by establishing strong working relationships with colleagues across all disciplines. If you are a clinical leader who is keen to develop your career as a Mental Health Advanced Nurse Practitioner this post offers you the opportunity to be part of an exciting new service development which aims to improve the experiences of patients and expand and develop the role of mental health nurses in Inverclyde. This post is for qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioners although applications from those who are close to completing the ANP qualification may be considered.
