Cath Lab: The Cardiac Cath Lab is a busy, demanding and rewarding department in which to work, dealing with patients undergoing coronary angiograms/angioplasty and device implantation such as Permanant pacemakers or ICDs.  In addition we provide a Primary and rescue PCI service for those patients with STEMI as well as inpatient treatment for those with other acute coronary syndromes.  This post offers excellent experience and learning opportunities with close links to CCU and  a comprehensive Cardiac CPD package.  The successful candidates will work variable hours Mon-Fri with an oncall commitment out of hours as we provide a 24/7 PPCI service.

CCU: We are seeking a motivated individual with a keen interest in cardiology to join our dynamic, forward-thinking team of nurses in the CCU based at Raigmore Hospital. You will have a keen interest in acute cardiology and be willing to challenge yourself by gaining new skills and knowledge.  Ideally you will have a significant period of post registration experience. Previous , specific experience in level 2 areas and ideally in CCU or cardiology is preferred but not essential as staff undergo an extensive CPD development programme.  For more information contact Miriam Flemming- miriam.fleming@nhs.scot.
