Working within Specialist Children’s Services in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, which encompasses Community Paediatrics, CAMHS & Acute Paediatrics, you will be committed to addressing the health and wellbeing needs of children, young people and their families.

You will work in multi-disciplinary teams whose aim is to provide high quality support, assessment and interventions in line with evidence based practice and national policies/ agendas. You will have knowledge and experience of working in teams where care is coordinated and you will fully understand the impact of integrated care and services.

​​​​​​​You will be registered as a dietician and have relevant experience in planning and

providing person centred and outcome based care. A strong culture of support, development, CPD, reflective practice and supervision exists to maximise our patient’s experience, safety and outcomes and your career progression.

An exciting 1.0wte opportunity is available for a Band 7 Dietician to join the specialist CAMHS Eating Disorder team working across GGC. This post would offer both a highly specialist clinical opportunity within a well-established eating disorder team. The primary role would be to offer FBT interventions to young people with an eating disorder working with the young person and their family to support recovery. You will work closely with colleagues in Tier 3 CAMHS and with RHC colleagues.

You are required to be HCPC registered and experience within Mental Health or Paediatrics is desirable. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills. We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enjoys being part of an enthusiastic team and is looking to develop their leadership skills. You must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and  communication skills when working with staff as well as children, young people and their carers.

Training and support for your professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision to support good practice.
