An excellent opportunity has arisen for a hard-working and flexible person to join our team of 5 assistants in the Special Feeds Unit at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.  The Special Feeds Unit prepares and delivers specialised feeds and nutritional supplements to infants and children within the Royal Hospital for Children and the Neonatal units at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Glasgow Royal Infirmary sites. In this unique post, you will work alongside a team of 30 Paediatric Dietitians to help provide this service.  The Special Feeds Unit operates 365 days per year and you will be required to work on some Public Holidays and occasional weekends.  You should be educated to standard grade (or equivalent) level in Mathematics and English and have basic keyboard skills. All training will be provided on systems and equipment used and you will have the opportunity to complete a Food Hygiene Certificate upon commencement of the post, if not achieved already.  NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde encourages applications from all sections of the community.
