An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Renal Team within NHS Fife, providing renal specialist care to a broad range of patients within the renal ward, renal outpatient clinics and for patients receiving treatment within the community.  This post is based within the Renal Specialist Nurse team.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate they have the leadership qualities and organizational skills to
manage a case load of patients requiring renal specialist care.  The Renal Specialist Nurse team provide support and education
to patients and their families on treatment options, as well as manage the care and dialysis training  of our Home Haemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis patients


Applicants should have experience at Band 5 within a Renal Service, educated to degree level or working towards a post graduate
Diploma, or equivalent specialist renal experience.  

The NHS Fife Renal Service is based across the below sites:

•    In patient ward 22 - Victoria Hospital
•    Renal Dialysis Unit ward 22 - Victoria Hospital
•    Satellite dialysis unit ward 21 - Queen Margaret Hospital
•    Satellite dialysis unit - St Andrews Community Hospital

This post will require travel between the Renal Service sites, including delivering care to Renal patients in the Community.
