Then come and join our team of fully autonomous Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP). We offer you the opportunity to become a true generalist with core skills in acute care. You will work at a highly advanced level as part of our multidisciplinary teams across many clinical settings including medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, ambulatory emergency care, oncology, haematology, head and neck and Hospital at Night. You will be a core member of the cardiac arrest team and first point of contact for our onsite Medical Emergency Team.

Our well established service consists of 20 qualified ANP, 5 trainee ANP and more recently 6 Assistant Practitioners who support the Medical and ANP workforce. We are continually expanding and developing our team and will very soon be introducing higher banded ANP, these new senior roles will be aligned to junior middle grade level (Fy2 up to ST 2) rotas in specific areas such as acute medicine/ medicine for the elderly.

The ANP team leads the deteriorating patient work-stream across Raigmore Hospital and providing vital leadership, teaching, quality improvement and audit opportunities which enables our Practitioners to achieve the four pillars of practice.

We guarantee annual learning and development time to support your core learning needs and can offer financial support to obtain core Masters level qualifications if required/desired. Successful applicants will be supported by a Practice Development Nurse.

We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic and extremely capable Advanced Nurse Practitioners who will embrace the challenge of this dynamic and challenging role. Leadership experience and skills are essential and applicants must have prior experience of working in an acute adult setting.

You must have completed an NHS Highland approved advanced clinical assessment and history taking module at degree level and also be registered with the NMC as a non medical prescriber (V300).

The posts are rotational across day, evening, weekend and nights with full or part time hours considered.

An attractive relocation package of up to £8,000 may be available to eligible successful candidates.
