1.0 wte Antimicrobial / OPAT Pharmacist band 7, based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH), Glasgow. 
Permanent post. 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacist to join the antimicrobial pharmacist team based at QEUH and help provide cover for the Out Patient Antimicrobial Therapy service. The post holder will  
•    provide clinical advice to the OPAT service at QEUH and endocarditis MDT
•    provide clinical antimicrobial advice and promote antimicrobial stewardship within GGC
•    help develop/ review  antimicrobial guidelines
•    proactively contribute to antimicrobial ward rounds
•    proactively contribute to meetings e.g. Antimicrobial Utilisation Committee meeting, 
•    be involved in junior doctor, pharmacist and nurse teaching
•    possibility of contributing to national work on antimicrobials

 Some experience in antimicrobials and pharmacokinetics is desirable. The post holder will work closely with the antimicrobial pharmacists in GGC, and the OPAT team.
