An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Charge Nurse to lead the nursing team in Ward 2 Ninewells Hospital. This busy unit looks after all gastroenterology inpatients in Tayside. We provide holistic care which is patient centred and maximises each individuals potential for recovery. The nursing and medical teams are supported by an excellent Multi Disciplinary Team including therapists, specialist pharmacist, dietician and Nurse Specialists.
This Senior Charge Nurse post offers an excellent opportunity for an individual to lead and develop the ward nursing team. You must be able to evidence proven leadership skills.
The gastroenterology ward is an environment where patients come first, therefore you must have the ability and commitment to work as part of a team delivering high standards of patient centred care and strive to continue to improve the patient experience. You will be expected to work flexibly to meet the needs of this service.
Experience at Band 6 Charge Nurse level is essential.
You must be registered on Sub-part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub-part 2: RN2 of the NMC Register
