- Mental Health
The services provide high quality nursing care to patients with a variety of physical and psychological needs in hospital or community, across NHS Lothian. They adopt a holistic approach to patient care in safe and therapeutic environments.
- Orthorpaedics – Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh
The post holder will work within the Orthopaedic directorate based on the RIE site. The orthopaedic directorate comprises of 2 Trauma wards, 108 & 109, and 2 Elective wards, 209 & 220. Both 108 & 109 are busy Trauma admission wards caring for patients who have suffered trauma and who may require surgical intervention. Wards 209 & 220 comprise of 51 beds caring for elective patients undergoing routine and complex joint replacements. Enhanced Recovery after Surgery is a key component of the care we provide.
- Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (Melville Unit, Royal Hospital for Children & Young People)
We are a 12 bedded unit for adolescents aged between 12-18 years old . We work with young people who are experiencing mental health difficulties such as Depression, Anxiety, Psychosis and Eating Disorders. You do not need CAMHS experience and we have opportunities to help you develop your career path.
Please note there is no Band 2 vacancy in Royal Hospital for Children and Young People (RHCYP).

This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
